Staff Selection Commission(SSC) has published the Common Graduate Level(CGL) exam notification for the recruitment of various posts such as Excise Inspectors, Income Tax Inspectors, etc. The last to apply online is February 22, 2013. Admit Card For SSC FCI Tier 2(New Date) 2013

The admit card for the SSC FCI exam for the post of Assistant Grade III in General Depot, Technical, and Account Cadre, which was held on November 10 and 11, 2012 is available. Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducted this exam to fill 6545 vacancies of Assistant Grade in FCI (Food Corporation in India).

The result of the SSC FCI was announced in the month of December. Click here to find out the cut off for the FCI Tier 1 examination and what will be cut off in the Mains examination.

Earlier the exam got canceled on Feb 3, 2013. That is why SSC released the new date for the re-examination of SSC FCI Tier 2(mains) exam and that is April 7, 2013.

The Multi Tasking Staff(MTS) exam 2013 is conducted by SSC and scheduled to be take place on 10th March and 17th Mrch, 2013. The MTS Exam is a Matric level exam, so it is expected to have too much competition and large no. of students. There will be two papers viz. Paper 1 and Paper 2 in the Multi Tasking Staff exam 2013. Paper 1 is a objective type paper and paper 2 is a subjective type paper where you have to write a short essay in English(compulsory) and Hindi language. You can choose any Indian language instead of Hindi.
Paper 1 would consists of 150 questions of 150 marks in 2 hours. It consists of:
1) General Intelligence and Reasoning – 25 Marks
2) Quantitative Aptitude – 25 Marks
3) general English – 50 Marks
4) General Awareness – 50 marks

SSC FCI Mains(Tier 2) Paper Cancelled

SSC FCI Mains(Tier 2) Exam was cancelled today. In a big blunder by SSC, organizers sent Technical question paper(which was scheduled to be held in the evening session) in the morning session to all the centers in the country.
Students were really angry and disappointment over this blunder by SSC organizers.
Now the rescheduled examination will be held in the coming few weeks. But it will create problem for candidates who have filled the form for other PSU exams and it might clash with the SSC FCI exam to be held very soon.

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced the result of the Paper-I of the Junior Translators in CSOLS Examination 2012.
SSC conducted the examination on 18-11-2012 for recruitment to the post of Junior Translators in CSOLS at various centres all over the country.
More than two thousand candidates had appeared in this examination.

SSC FCI exam results have been announced by SSC for the post of Assistant Grade III in General Depot, Technical, and Account Cadre, which was conducted on November 10 and 11, 2012. Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducted this exam to fill up 6545 vacancies of Assistant Grade in FCI (Food Corporation in india).

The result was announced yesterday evening on SSC official website.

SSC FCI Exam Results 2012-13 for Assistant Grade

SSC FCI exam for the post of Assistant Grade III in General Depot, Technical, and Account Cadre was conducted on November 10 and 11, 2012. Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducted this exam to fill up 6545 vacancies of Assistant Grade in FCI (Food Corporation in india).

Lots of candidates are waiting for the results for a long time now. SSC announced the answer key of the written test last month. You can find the FCI answer key on this link.

According to the various sources, SSC will declare the SSC FCI Assistant Grade III Results 2012-13 on its official website in the last week of December, 2012. And if these sources are to be believed, the second(mains) paper will be held on February 3, 2013. Earlier, it was scheduled to be held on January 6, 2013. The Mains exam would consist of 100 questions of English language and 50 questions of Quantitative Aptitude.

– Quantitative Aptitude(50 Questions – 100 Marks)
Time – 2 Hours

SSC CGL 2013 New Exam Pattern and Change in Dates

SSC CGL 2013 Exam pattern and schedule has been revised by Staff Service Commission. This step had been taken to ensure that only bonafide candidates finally qualify in the examination. SSC had also revised the dates for Combined Graduate Level Exam 2013. Now the Tier I exam will be held in April 2013 (3 Months earlier than its previous schedule when the exam was expected to be held in July, 2013). So, the candidates preparing for the exam have to make some changes in their study schedule and start preparing now for the examination.

SSC CGL 2013 – New Exam Pattern

 

Different Tiers of existing Scheme of Examination for Combined Graduate Level Examination are as follows: 

Tier -I

 Written Examination (Objective Multiple Choice Type)
Tier -II

 Written Examination (Objective Multiple Choice Type)
Tier -III

 Personality Test /Interview/Computer Proficiency
Test   or   Skill Test (wherever applicable).

Scheme of Examination for different posts will be as follows:

NOTE: There is negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in Tier-I.

In Tier-II, there is negative marking of 0.25 marks in Paper-II and III and 0.50 marks in Paper-I for each wrong answer.

Candidates are advised to keep this in mind while answering the questions.

Staff Service Commission has decided that the candidates qualifying in Tier-II of the Examination, for Computer Proficiency Test and Interview for posts of Assistant in CSS, Interview for other Interview posts, Data Entry Skill Test for posts of Tax Assistant and document verification for other non-interview posts, will be subjected to a Short Descriptive paper of not more than one hour’s duration, with questions drawn from “English Language and Comprehension”, “Quantitative Abilities” and “General Awareness”. If adequate infrastructure with reliable real time connectivity is available, at least in the Regional Headquarters and Lucknow, the Commission will at its option, change this to an online examination. The examination will be qualifying in nature and will not be taken into account for determining the position of the candidates in merit order. This is expected to screen those candidates who might have been able to take advantage of unfair means in Tier-I and II examinations. The proposed short descriptive papers/online test will not only screen but deter those candidates who intend to use unfair means in examination.
